Our Planning Process

Every event can teach us something new and help us learn how to be better at what we do. We are very blessed and honored to have worked on so many weddings, and from those, along with the knowledge of the wedding industry, we have put together a planning process that we follow for each couple. Take a look at what you can expect from us throughout our time together.

Pre-Planning

Before we dive into planning there are some things that I make sure all of my clients understand. So here is what you can expect before the first booking happens.

  1. The Inquiry: It all starts here. No matter how we got in touch with each other, I am happy you are here.

  2. Initial Consultation: This allows us to meet each other and see if we are a good fit. I know how valuable your time is, so I send a brief questionnaire over to gather as much detail about your wedding beforehand as possible. These consults are complimentary and last about 30 minutes. There is no need to drive anywhere to meet with me, all meetings are virtual.

  3. Quote: You receive a custom planning quote from me. This is based off of our initial consult together. I know, I know, you want the quote before taking the time to talk with me. However, every wedding is different and at a different point in their planning process. I do not want to waste anyone’s time with quoting you on something that you don’t need from me. I also do not want to leave out anything specific that you absolutely want from us. I like transparency, so giving you a solid quote to include everything you want upfront is best for when it comes to your budgeting and expectations. My goal is to make things less stressful, and keeping things hidden or left out does not achieve this.

  4. Contract and Deposit: Once you decide to hire us (Yay!) you will be sent a contract to review and sign. Along with the signed contract, a deposit is required to officially hold your date.

The fun stuff!

5. Welcome Email/Introduction to Aisle Planner: After a contract and deposit have been received you will receive an official welcome email. This will tell you what you can expect next and throughout the process with us. It covers when meetings occur, communication, when to get information to us, and more. We use a program called Aisle Planner to keep everything about your wedding in one convenient place for everyone, including other wedding vendors you hire, should you choose.

6. Aisle Planner Sign In: You will receive an invite to your specific event once all initial setup on my end has occurred. Usually within 1-2 weeks of receiving your welcome email.

7.

Post Wedding

The wedding is over now you can enjoy life as a newly married couple. Take that in and enjoy the honeymoon!

The wedding industry professionals rely heavily on referrals and reviews, so we will be reaching out to you with a review request. We highly suggest you leave reviews for all of your wedding vendors. There are usually several ways to do this and you can leave them in one or multiple places such as Google, Facebook, WeddingWire, and The Knot.

Moving forward we appreciate any referral you send our way!
